Vórtice is an independent artistic initiative with full curatorial autonomy, dedicated to the training, professional development, institutionalization, and internationalization of artists.

Founded in 2022 and led by Leonardo Maciel and Paulo Cibella, Vórtice culture on multiple fronts and has worked with over 520 artists from some 30 countries, establishing itself as a hub for new releases, circulation, research, and experimentation.

The Vórtice Gallery is Brazil’s first gallery dedicated to contemporary erotic art, featuring artists from over 30 countries, affordable works, and free shipping.

The Vórtice Festival is Latin America’s largest contemporary art exhibition exploring desire, the body, and sexuality.

The Vórtice Library maintains a living collection of approximately 400 rare art books, encouraging research, creativity, and new perspectives.

The Vórtice Community brings together around 200 artists in a dynamic environment of daily exchange, fostering creative freedom.
