🔮 The Vortex bids farewell to the Vera Building
Over the past two and a half years, the Vera Building has been a kind of laboratory for us. It has been more than 1,000 days of intense work, with 25 exhibitions, training more than 400 students in various printing, photography, and design techniques, and building a library dedicated to erotic art.
We couldn't be more proud of the path we've built so far—and you are part of it! From now on, we will continue without a fixed headquarters, but we will continue our annual projects, such as the Vórtice Festival. The library will be transferred to our private studio, and as soon as we have a new space, it will be reopened to the public.
Like an alchemical and magnetic movement, we have consolidated our name and inspired other spaces, institutions, and producers to be bold and make a difference.
